If you're experiencing issues with Zoom transcriptions not matching the spoken language, follow these steps to ensure accurate captioning:

1 . Verify Speaking Language Settings:

  • During the Meeting:

    • Click the Show Captions button in the Zoom meeting controls.

    • Click the up arrow (^) next to Show Captions.

    • Select Speaking Language and choose the correct language being spoken.

  • Before the Meeting:

    • Sign in to the Zoom web portal.

    • Navigate to Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Advanced).

    • Ensure Automated captions are enabled.

    • Click Edit translation languages to select the appropriate speaking and translation languages.

2. Enable Translated Captions:

  • In the Zoom web portal, go to Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Advanced).

  • Ensure Translated captions are enabled.

  • Click Edit translation languages to configure language pairs as needed.

3. Update Zoom to the Latest Version:

  • Open the Zoom desktop application.

  • Click on your profile picture and select Check for Updates.

  • Install any available updates to ensure you have the latest features and fixes.
