If Ember is not capturing conversations during your Zoom meeting, follow these steps:
Join the Call: First, confirm that Ember is successfully added to the call. Ensure that you’ve entered the correct meeting URL and pressed Enter to have Ember join as the notetaker.
Grant Permissions: The meeting host must grant permission for Ember to record. If you don’t see a permission dialog, ensure you're logged into the Zoom host account. This issue can commonly occur if the waiting room feature is disabled.
Enable Captions: In Zoom’s settings, go to Show Captions and activate the "Allow Closed Captioning for this meeting" option. Closed captioning needs to be enabled for accurate transcription.
Check Meeting Permissions: Double-check that the meeting settings allow third-party recording. If these permissions aren’t set up correctly, Ember won't be able to capture the meeting.
Test Audio Settings: Ensure that your microphone and audio are working properly within the Zoom session. Clear, functioning audio is required for Ember to capture and transcribe conversations accurately.
Re-Enter the URL: If Ember still doesn’t join, try copying and pasting the meeting URL again, then press Enter to rejoin the meeting.
Refresh the Page: Try refreshing the page and re-entering the meeting link if the problem persists.
Seek Support: If these troubleshooting steps don’t resolve the issue, reach out to the Ember Support Team through the 'Contact Us' option in your app settings, or email us for further assistance.
